“All of us are responsible for one another.”

— Talmud, Shevuot 39a

City Shul is a modern Reform Jewish community rooted in downtown Toronto.

We come together for prayer, music, learning, conversation, celebration, and the ongoing search for meaningful Jewish life in the middle of a busy city. Some people arrive deeply connected to Jewish tradition. Others are exploring it for the first time, returning after years away, or looking for a Jewish community that feels thoughtful, spiritually open, and genuinely human.
